How to become a Wide Angle Sponsor!
Wide Angle offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities, from sponsoring an individual student to an entire event. Review our options below to find the right way to connect your company or individual gift to an area of support that is meaningful for you.
Wide Angle Youth Media provides Baltimore youth with real world learning opportunities to use media technology to help them become engaged, self-aware, social citizens. We are seeking individual donors and corporations to join our Sponsor a Student Program to support a youth producer from our high school programs, which includes the Mentoring Video Project and the Youth Media Festival Committee.
Sponsor-A-Student Levels:
- Mentoring Video Project Student: $100 per month for one year
- Youth Media Festival Student: $50 per month for one year

The Who Are You? Youth Media Festival celebrates the talents of Baltimore youth, presenting their voices and visions in a professional theater to over 10,000 attendees. The festival includes three events, gallery talks, and a month long gallery exhibition, coordinated by young leaders from across the city. The festival showcases the creative works of over 300 youth in 5-12th grade addressing issues of IDENTITY and additional 350 students participate in FREE festival workshops and presentations in Baltimore City Schools and after-school programs.
Festival Accomplishments:
- 50 schools and 18 community groups featured.
- 600 youth participate or submit artwork.
- 10,000 attendees experience the festival every year.
- Wide Angle is creating a Do It Yourself Festival Handbook to assist community organizations as they develop Youth Media Festivals.
- Wide Angle will be consulting with Young Chicago Authors as they create their own Youth Media Festival in the fall of 2010.
Festival Sponsorship Deadlines:
- Contributing Sponsor $500
- Supporting Sponsor $1,000
- Leadership Sponsor $2,500
- Feature Sponsor $5,000
- Headline Sponsor $20,000
- Early Pledge August 1st
- Deadline: January 15th
