The Who Are You? Youth Media Festival
Is an amazing month of performances, workshops, events, and exhibits, all by and about Baltimore youth! All events are produced by Wide Angle Youth Media, are located at CENTERSTAGE, 700 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202* and take place during the month of April.
Every year young people challenge YOUR stereotypes and tell you who they really are! Submissions for our 6th Annual Who Are You? Youth Media Festival are due on January 20, 2011. We accept work from Baltimore City youth in grades 5-12.

Gallery Exhibit
CENTERSTAGE (Lobby and Pearlstone Gallery)
See the drawings, photographs, sculptures, and installations by more than 300 Baltimore youth, all about identity from over 50 schools and 20 after school organizations. Free Admission.
CENTERSTAGE (Lobby and Pearlstone Gallery)
Every year we offer a low cost professional development training for educators. During the 5th Annual Who Are You? Youth Media Festival we organized Frame by Frame for the National Art Education Association Conference in partnership with the Masters in Community Arts Program at the Maryland Institute College of Art. In this workshop art educators, Learned the basics of pixilation—an animation technique based on assembling still images into a story. Youth Organized Event
The 5th Annual Who Are You? Youth Media Festival celebrated the voices and talents of over 300 young artists, and it culminated with the performance night at CENTERSTAGE in the Pearlstone Theatre. Last year the Baltimore Westsiders started and closed the show with a live performance. Emcees Chris Goodman and the Youth Festival Committee presented an evening of poetry, music, performances, and videos by festival participants. Including: The Unique Steppers from Woodholme Elementary Middle School, Youthlight, New Lens Productions, Child First Authority Art Corps, Roq-Off-Crew, Young Audiences and more.
