KIANA B. JONES

FOUNDER, BEEHIVE ENTERPRISE PROFESSIONALS AND
CO-FOUNDER, BEEHIVE CONNECTED GROUP

Kiana B. Jones is a seasoned entrepreneur and career professional. She is the founder and driving force behind Beehive Enterprise Professionals (B.E.P.), and the co-founder of Beehive Connected Group (BCG). B.E.P. is a boutique firm that prides itself on understanding its clients’ business and industry needs, challenges, and goals. The ongoing mission of the firm is to provide quality and professional service while educating clients on their financial, business and professional wellness. BCG is an organization formed to stimulate growth and visibility for career professionals, entrepreneurs and small business owners. We foster a greater sense of community within the DMV by creating opportunities to make meaningful connections through our various workshops, seminars, and events. 

Ms. Jones earned her master’s degree in Accounting and Management from Walden University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Science (Accounting Concentration) at Coppin State University. In addition to higher education, Ms. Jones has earned countless hours of coursework and professional development in the areas of teaching, leadership, business development, management and communication. 

She began her career in public accounting over 20 years ago. After a few years in public accounting, she shifted her focus to non-profit financial management affording her over 10 years of experience in grant and financial management at Johns Hopkins University. During her career, Ms. Jones made a change to pursue her desire to teach. She discovered that teaching was not only a desire but a gift and she is passionate about education. Ms. Jones recently returned to nonprofit management as the Contracts & Grants Administrator for Associated Black Charities.
