Peymaan Motevalli-Aliabadi is a second generation Iranian-American whose career, films, and photography are inspired by immigrant identity and social responsibility. Peymaan was born and raised in Baltimore, MD before moving to the Hudson Valley to attend Bard College, where he graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's degree from the Film and Electronic Arts Department. Returning to his hometown he is committed and passionate about film education as a gateway for young people's creative and collective expression.
